Jetblue flight was forced to land as an unruly passenger started hitting and biting his fellow passengers.
The Los Angeles-New York flight was forced to divert and land in Las Vegas and the mid-air drama happened when the flight was flying over the US state, Utah. As per the report of CBS, witnesses revealed that man began biting his seatmates whom he knew and then he started hitting other passengers as well.
One of the passengers helped to subdue the man while flight attendants were putting restraints on him. Doctors on board examined the man but he attacked them as well and the same forced the pilot to take u-turn and land in Nevada.
“I grabbed his hands behind his back and held him there while the flight attendants put the restraints on him,” a passenger told CBS.
“At that point, he started yelling and tried to come towards the flight attendant, who was behind me, at the time. I really had a hell of a time keeping him in place there.”
Cellphone video caught the incident and the video showed how one passenger intervened and helped to restrain the perpetrator as crew members tried to control him. Here is the video.
Later the passenger was escorted off the plane and the flight continued to its destination without further interruption. As per some reports, Las Vegas police department told media that the man was not charged. In the past, many passengers had created a ruckus and were escorted off from the plane. What are your views?
